  • Anti-tarnish is a finish which is put on sterling silver to reduce tarnishing.
  • A bale is a loop that is attached to a charm so that it can be strung on a necklace.
  • A bezel is a metal band that goes around a stone to adhere it to the jewelry.
  • A clasp is a jewelry component used to attach two ends of a bracelet or necklace together. Types include lobster claw, spring ring, and barrel lock to name a few.
  • Howlite is a mineral and sometimes referred to as white turquoise.
  • Liquid silver is a strand or multiple strands of tiny elongated silver beads, that when strung together give the illusion of liquid.
  • Stabilized turquoise is a process to harden the stone and to enhance the color. Turquoise is a soft stone and stabilizing it gives longer use to the wearer.
